Jesus Christ & All 7 of God’s Holy Spirits

If you asked a friend to name God’s Seven Spirits, do you think they could? What about explaining how the Seven Spirits are one with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

Here is my reason for asking: One of the very first things I was shown during my first death was the actual flames of the Seven Spirits, which are literally at the front of God’s Throne. Not only were they shown but also explained, one by one. And I was only dead for a brief period of time. Just long enough to be resuscitated back to life, after being suffocated to death.

If the Seven Spirits are this much of a priority for God, and we as Christians on earth do not even know their names, what does that say about our spiritual preparedness?

Technology today allows us to search the Bible for keywords such as Seven Spirits, and within seconds every single mention throughout the entire Bible pops up on a list. The Seven Spirits are only mentioned five times throughout the entire Bible, New and Old Testaments combined. Here is what they say.

• Isaiah 11:2, And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD
• Revelation 1:4, John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne
• Revelation 3:1, And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things says He that has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars
• Revelation 4:5, And out of the throne proceeded lightning and thundering and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God
• Revelation 5:6, And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

We’re told (a) their names, (b) that they are seven individual flames, (c) the flames are located near the front of God’s Throne, and (d) they go out into the world. That’s it, no further explanation of what each one does or how they work together to create perfection in the Holy Spirit. I’m not even aware of a single prayer in which they are included. I know they’re not in the Nicene Creed, which is one of my favorites, a beautiful statement detailing our beliefs about God.

The Holy Spirit is discussed much more in the Bible and in prayers but only in reference to what it is a part of, which is God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Not in reference to how it is formed, which is by the Seven Spirits.

And at the same time, God’s Seven Spirits were a major part of all three of the major spiritual events in my life, (1) the temporary death in 1960’s, (2) his welcomed-interruption of my desperate prayer in 2013, and (3) his response to a prayer in 2020 explaining that his welcomed-interruption in 2013 was done by the Seven Spirits of God, in high definition color.

Therefore, from my perspective, it seems our Bible and prayers provide comparatively little magnification of God’s Seven Spirits here on earth, compared to heaven. So how can this disparity be addressed? Or, should it be addressed?

Two things come to mind:

• God uses our pain to help others. Redemptive Pain, as it is described, is the highest and best use of any pain we go through. God wants us to (1) find the good in the pain we endure, and (2) use that good to help others, as part of our service to God.
• One of the ways Jesus continues his work on earth from heaven is through us, his followers who give their life to Jesus because he gave his life for us. I gave mine on September 29, 2013 and as a result, worthy magnification of God’s Seven Spirits is a calling I’ve come to feel deep within my heart.

Would you like to know how God’s Seven Spirits work to create perfection in the Holy Spirit? Seems like this knowledge can inspire all of us to search for the same qualities within ourselves.

Here are the three individual parts of our one God:

• Father
• Son
• Holy Spirit

Here are the seven individual spirits that form the one part of God we call the Holy Spirit:

• Spirit of the Lord
• Spirit of Knowledge
• Spirit of Understanding
• Spirit of Wisdom
• Spirit of Counsel
• Spirit of Might
• Spirit of Fear of the Lord

Here is an explanation for each of God’s Seven Spirits:

Spirit of the Lord

• Jesus Christ creates his own life within us. He gives us life, power and desires. We are guided to be perfect so that our every work becomes a Godly action.

Spirit of Knowledge

• Knowledge enables us to understand the truth. Everyone finds solutions to work out their problems and worries, and that is where the knowledge begins.

Spirit of Understanding

• When a person is able to accept and understand things as they are, they will proceed to gain wisdom

Spirit of Wisdom

• It is God’s wisdom that helps us to judge ourselves.
• Ephesians 1:17 reads “ ¹⁷ That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know him better.”

Spirit of Counsel

• God consoles his disciples when they listen with their hearts and shows the right path in making decisions.

Spirit of Might

• As children of God, we have the power to make choices. This power is the inborn talent that we gain through age and struggle.

Spirit of Fear of the Lord – This is the one spirit people question the most. So let me offer some perspective, starting with what is written in the Bible.

• This first quote is from Jesus, himself, while he was alive on earth. The Book of Matthew is one of the four Gospels in the Bible and focuses on the teachings of Jesus. In Matthew 10:32-33, Jesus says ³² Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. ³³ But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.
• Next is from Moses and the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20:20, which reads ²⁰ Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.
• Then there is 2 Corinthians 5:8-10, which reads ⁸ We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. ⁹ So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. ¹⁰ For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
• King Solomon of Israel is highly revered in all three of the Abrahamic faiths: Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, and is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible (or Old Testament), the Quran, and the Hadith… It is King Solomon who said, Fearing God is the beginning of Wisdom.

The Seven Spirits of God’s Holy Spirit are seven individual flames of fire burning as though fueled by a torch, only there is no torch, no source of fuel whatsoever. Yet they burn eternally while maintaining their positions in organized fashion at the front of God’s Throne.

I vividly remember hearing the voice of the tour guide during my temporary death telling me that candle sticks, candelabras, lamp stands, and torches “are things we used on earth to hold the flames in place” but that “we don’t need them here for the actual Spirits.”

How can we increase awareness and understanding of God’s Seven Spirits here on earth, to more accurately reflect their praise in heaven?

Here is my proposal. The Nicene Creed is a statement of core beliefs about God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. A beloved prayer of Christians worldwide, myself included. But the Nicene Creed does not include God’s Seven Spirits. One way we can increase our magnification of God’s Seven Spirits is by adding the names of each Spirit to the section that describes the Holy Spirit.

What would that look like?

To illustrate, here is a side by side comparison with proposed additions to the Nicene Creed highlighted in yellow.

Because of this, I will describe what is written in the picture above so that all people of all languages can read and understand the proposed amendments. The screenshot/picture above is of two versions of the same prayer, side by side. Version on the left is the current version of the Nicene Creed prayer, originally written in the year 325 and amended in 381. The version on the right (above) is of the exact same prayer but with proposed amendments highlighted in yellow, for easier identification and comparison. The year of this proposed amendment is 2020 which is 1,639 years after the most recent amendment. Here is the prayer:

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son with seven individual spirits: the Spirit of the Lord, of Knowledge, and Understanding, the Spirit of Wisdom, of Counsel, and Strength, as well as the Spirit of Fear of the Lord. Just as God is one but with three individual beings: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, so too is the Holy Spirit one but with seven individual spirits, which form complete perfection in the Holy Spirit of God. With the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins and we ask God for his Holy Spirit to rest upon us. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

This proposed amendment to the Nicene Creed prayer is made during my 7th year in covenant with Jesus Christ, which began on September 29, 2013 when his Seven Spirits of God visually entered and interrupted a desperate prayer of mine, thereby forming an agreement, a covenant, between Jesus and me based on the words and feelings expressed in that prayer.

And how about the new dawn of Peace emerging in the Middle East?

Absolutely fantastic news – Peace in the Middle East!

Here we have leaders from Bahrain and United Arab Emirates joining Israel in a joint signing ceremony at the White House in Washington, DC, USA.

The signing of these Abraham Peace Accords was brokered by the USA and received overwhelming bipartisan support with 91 senators and 372 house representatives cosponsoring two resolutions supporting these agreements between Israel, UAE and Bahrain. Here is a copy of the actual signed document.
